The SFK needs you

Forty out of one hundred ten gradeschoolers in the Philippines dropped out of school because of poverty (1995 survey). The continuously increasing expenses in sending a child to school, even to the public schools, proved to be beyond the poor families' financial capabilities.

To send a child to a public/government school, the family needs:

• Phil. Peso 8,400.00 per year, for an elementary student
• Phil. Peso 14,000.00 per year, for a secondary/high school student
• Phil. Peso 35,000.00 per year, for a college/vocational student

Note: Amounts do not include school tuition fees and school supplies/books, housing and medicare

This is why the SFK needs you.

Ways to support the SFK -

• Sponsor a child (any school level of your choice)
• Become a "lasting friend of the SFK" - by giving a regular donation of any amount every year
• Be a donor - by donating any amount whenever you have something to spare
